about
A track from Heavy City's earliest days. Our original singer Shane wrote the words and horn line to this gem based off a cell phone recording of an early basement jam. Shane moved off to Alaska before he could play a single show, but lovingly left us this tune that offers a slice of Northwest "can do" spirit, which Emma has now made her own. Heavy City recorded this at Jeremy Wilson Foundation with Curtis Irie at the controls. Shane recorded his vocals at his home studio in Alaska. We sent them all to King Django at Version City Studio for mixing.

I have listened to this album so many times since I grabbed it I'm surprised the MP3s haven't worn out!
Rancid is an amazing band and this tribute is just excellent. ...And Out Come the Wolves needs no intro and neither do any of the songs on here.
Real standouts for me are Sarchasm crushing "Journey to the End..", Matt Moua's soft hearted "Daly City Train" and Little Debbie & The Crusaders pounding "11th Hour". congealedmeat
